Audrey D. Pearson, 70, of Butler passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, at Butler Memorial Hospital following a two-week illness.

Born July 21, 1950, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Stella A. Yousko Tekac.

She was married to Wayne Pearson, who passed away in 2008.

Audrey ran a snack bar at the Smith Grove Camp Ground, where she was affectionately known as the “Candy Lady.”

Her favorite moments were spent with her family and her dog, Brutus.

Survivors include her sister, Kathy Dando of New Castle; her companion of 11 years, Michael Schoedel of Butler, and his children, Michael (Yvette) Schoedel of Chicora, Paul (Karen) Schoedel of Bismarck, N.D., Duane (Crystal) Schoedel of Smithton, and Cheryl (Tony) Bayt of Munhall; a niece, Shannon (Dave) Colamarino of Apollo; two great-nephews, Luca and Samuel Colamarino; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

PEARSON — A graveside service for Audrey D. Pearson, who died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Graceland Cemetery.

Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
