Harvey L. Richardson
Harvey L. Richardson of Nokomis, Fla., formerly of Renfrew died peacefully Nov. 26 at the age of 78.
Harvey was born May 7, 1940, in Pittsburgh, to Bert F. Richardson and Cora Margaret “Peggy” Tower Richardson.
Harvey graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1958, and worked with his father as a truck driver.
He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1960 until 1963.
After leaving the service, he drove for several trucking companies before buying his own trucks and working as an owner/operator.
He was a member of the Shriners and was active in their motor corps and helped raise money for Shriners Hospitals.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores “Dee” Daum Richardson; three sons, Mark (Jocelyn) Richardson of Butler, Scott (Jodi) Richardson of Butler and Blake (Deborah) Richardson of Mountain Home, Idaho; one brother, Kenneth (Rosemary) Richardson of Texas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
RICHARDSON — The family of Harvey L. Richardson, who died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, will receive guests at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at Westminster Church PCA, 420 N.
