Cabot — Concordia Lutheran Ministries will have its annual Oktoberfest celebration behind the Lund Care Center from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 4.

Entertainment will include the North Star Kids and strolling accordionist Conrad Ostertag. For the children, there will be a caricature artist, a petting zoo, pony rides, games, crafts, and hayrides.

A bus will be available for tours of Saxony Farm Estate and there will be open houses at the finished Haven I building and Lund Assisted Living. The Concordia Visiting Nurses will host a flu shot clinic from 3 to 6:30 p.m.

The Concordia food service staff will prepare a German themed food menu.

Concordia employee Carol Schuler will roast a pig and some lamb.

There will be rummage, jewelry, and bake sales by the Haven ladies, and the Epiphany and Christ Lutheran churches.

Children 12 years old and under are entitled to a free food voucher.

A Zambelli Fireworks display will start at 7:45 p.m.
