Saxonburg scored seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull out a 7-6 win over Meridian in Legion baeball action Thursday night.

Brandon Stull had a pair of hits and Addis Crouch doubled for Saxonburg.

Logan Hickey picked up the win in relief, tossing three shutout innings and allowing just one hit.

P.J. Gourley worked the seventh for a save.

Sam Gross, Joel Stutz and Ryan Lynn all singled for Meridian.

Slippery Rock 13, Butler City 3 —Danny Williams had a pair of doubles and Colin Hyatt tripled and singled to lead Slippery Rock.

Gunner Becker also doubled and Calvin Rossi picked up the win.

Slippery Rock also beat Center Township 14-2 earlier this week.

Williams had a double and a single in that victory and Kyle Benson singled twice and got the win on the mound.

Zach Van Dyke doubled and singled, Becker also had a double and Mason Hilderbrant had a pair of singles.
