Jodey K. Dickey, 81, of Pine Township, Grove City, passed away at 3:30 a.m. Thursday at the Grove City Medical Center after a two-year illness.

She was born in Branchton, April 14, 1931, and was the daughter of Elmer B. Hoffman and Jessie S. Coulter Hoffman.

She married Roland E. Dickey on Dec. 24, 1968.

In May 1996, she retired from Grove City College where she was employed in housekeeping for many years. She was a Protestant.

Jodey was a 1949 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, a member of AARP and a former member of the Country Music Association. Formerly, she volunteered at the Trinity Living Center. Jody was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 220, and she enjoyed playing bingo throughout her life. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working in her yard.

Surviving are her husband, Roland E., at home; four children, Rhonda Robertson of Grove City, Jennifer Sonn and her husband, George, of Atlanta, Ga., Randall Dickey of Grove City and Rod E. Dickey and his wife, Debra, of the Village of Leesburg, Mercer; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Kolemba of Pittsburgh; and two brothers, Ronald L. Coulter and his wife, Vernie, of Grove City and James C. Coulter and his wife, Martha, of Boyers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William M. Coulter.

<B>DICKEY</B> — Funeral services for Jodey K. Dickey, who passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, with the Rev. G. Kenton Shaw, retired pastor, officiating.Visitation hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
