Carl H. Simpson

Carl H. Simpson, 71, of Slippery Rock passed away at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 10, 2012, at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born May 5, 1941, in Parker to Elva Culberson Simpson of Worthington.

Mr. Simpson was a graduate of Butler High School. He earned an associate degree at New Castle Business College. He worked at Herrvoss for 25 years and also served as CFO of the Keystone Tall Tree Girl Scout Council.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife, Rosemary Bruner Simpson; four children, Kelly Feevey Tincher of Slippery Rock, Jennifer Carlson and her husband, Aaron, of Plymouth, Minn., Ronald Simpson and his wife, Amanda, of Slippery Rock and Beverly Simpson of Slippery Rock; seven grandchildren, Aaron and Ryan Feevey, Annika Carlson, Hope Simpson, Henrik Carlson and Haleigh and Andrew Simpson; one brother, James Simpson and his wife, Sandra, of East Brady; one sister, Doris Darrell of Mars; and several nieces and nephews.

SIMPSON — Carl H. Simpson passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2012. According to Mr. Simpson's wishes, there will be no visitation. His family will conduct a celebration of his life from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Moraine Sportsman Club, 211 Staff Road, Slippery Rock.Arrangements are being handled by THompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
