The Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The normal opening time is 8 a.m.

This is a one-day schedule change. The library will open at its normal time Wednesday.

Heart medication presentation set

Butler Health System will present “Medication Management and Therapies for Heart Failure” from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Findley Auditorium in the Tower Entrance of Butler Memorial Hospital, 1 Hospital Way.

The presentation, given by electrophysiologist Dr. Jonas Cooper and clinical pharmacist Dr. Thanh Lam, is free.

Registration is requested for seating purposes and can be made by calling 800-841-6825.

NORTH WASHINGTON — Toys, Christmas decorations, household goods, tools and more will be auctioned at 5 p.m. Nov. 29 at the North Washington Social Hall, rodeo grounds, 2225 Oneida Valley Road.The auctioneer is Bob Grossman.Major credit cards will be accepted. The auction benefits the North Washington Volunteer Fire Department.

FREEPORT — During the Freeport Christmas celebration, the Freeport Library will have a special one-day Christmas sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7 at the library, 428 Market St.Seasonal decorations and other holiday items will be available before and after the Christmas parade.
