Josephine Varano
Josephine Varano, 78, of Butler passed away at 1:35 p.m. Thursday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Glen Morrison, W.Va., the daughter of the late Sam and Elizabeth (Codispot) Varano.
She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, bowling and traveling.
She had retired from Occidental Life after 30 years and the Southern CA Water Co. after 10 years.
Surviving are three sisters, Connie Cavalero of Butler, Mary Ann Henry of Butler and Mrs. Robert (Rachel) Northime of Chicora; two brothers, Pat Varano of Butler and Mickey Varano of Butler; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews
