Brianne “Bri” Marie Rapp

Brianne “Bri” Marie Rapp gained her heavenly wings unexpectedly Friday morning at the precious age of 17.

She was born Oct. 18, 2000, in Butler, to Michael Sean Rapp and Kimberly Marie Shultz.

Bri was a junior at Butler Senior High School. She had many friends in the Butler, Deer Lake and Mars school districts. Brianne would always be there for her friends and never put herself first.

In her free time, Brianne would like to draw and sing. She loved both of her parents and siblings dearly.

Brianne is survived by her father, Michael Sean Rapp of Mars; her mother Kimberly Marie Shultz of Butler; her 12-year-old brother, Tyler Sean Rapp, and her 4-year-old sister, Maddalyn “Maddy” Jean Leitsch, both of Butler; and by her mother's live-in boyfriend, Matthew Maley of Herman.

She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Ray P. Rapp of Mars and Nancy J. Lacek Rapp of Pittsburgh; her maternal grandmother, Karen L. Shultz of Butler; her uncle, Bill (Amy) Shultz of Butler and their two sons, Matthew and Lucas Shultz, both of Butler; her uncle, Ricky Rapp of Pittsburgh; her aunt Tara (Jeff) Dunn; her cousins, Braxton and Megan of Butler; and her aunt, Elizabeth (Tansel) Erten of Fla.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James A. Shultz; and her great-grandparents.

RAPP — Friends of Brianne “Bri” Marie Rapp, who died Friday, June 1, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., Butler, with the Rev.
