STATE COLLEGE — The Knoch Knights won the state AAA baseball title this afternoon, beating Abington Heights 7-5. It is the first state championship for any Knoch team.

Cole Shinsky pitched the entire game for the Knights who finish the season at 23-2.

They scored their 7 runs on 10 hits while committing one error. Abington Heights had 8 hits and two errors.

Chris Law had the winning single in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Before this season, Knoch only had won one playoff game.
