William F. Lokhaiser, 84, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born June 2, 1937, in Butler, he was the son of Gust R. Lokhaiser and Sophie Trimbur Lokhaiser.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from the melt shop at Armco after 36 years.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly (Wissinger) Lokhaiser, whom he married June 8, 2001; his daughter, Melinda (James) Grothaus of Steeleville, Ill.; twin granddaughters, Morgan (Josh) Jones and Chelsie Grothaus; his brother, Philip (Betty) Lokhaiser of Butler; one sister, Audrey Myers of Butler; his stepdaughter, Wendy Richards of Scenery Hill, Pa., and her son, Derek Richards; and three step-sons, Bucky Wissinger of Saxonburg, and his children, Ryan and Heather Wissinger of Saxonburg, Scott Wissinger of Parker and his children, Brandon and Brianna, and Bryan Wissinger of Saxonburg, as well as 10 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gust R. Lokhaiser; and one granddaughter, Miranda Richards.

LOKHAISER — A celebration of life for friends of the family of William F. Lokhaiser, who died Thursday, April 21, 2022, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Centennial Hall at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Saxonburg.
