A Baden man is facing felony drug charges after a confidential informant allegedly purchased bricks of heroin from him last month at the Lemieux Center parking lot.

CRANBERRY TWP — A Baden man is facing felony drug charges after a confidential informant allegedly purchased bricks of heroin from him last month at the Lemieux Center parking lot.

According to the criminal complaint, Michael V. Vigna, 27, faces two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a controlled buy on June 27.

Investigators from the state Office of the Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics communicated with Vigna through Snapchat, according to court documents.

He offered to sell two bricks of heroin to a confidential informant, the complain states.

One brick of heroin is equal to 50 individual “stamp bags” of the drug.

The informant agreed to meet Vigna at the Lemieux Center on Cranberry Springs Drive. Vigna allegedly walked to the informant's vehicle and placed a red rag containing the bricks of heroin in the glove compartment.

Vigna was arraigned Thursday by District Judge David Kovach, and was released on his own recognizance.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled Aug. 31.
