$23,000 raised to aid family after fire
JEFFERSON TWP — The family of six whose house on Saxonburg Road was destroyed by a fire Tuesday night is getting help.
An account that began Wednesday morning has raised more than $23,000 for the family as of this morning.
People can donate at www.gofundme.com/i6incw.
Donations of checks or gift cards also may be sent to Judy Geist, 110 Bonniebrook Road, Cabot, PA 16023. Checks should be made out to Patrick or Milissa Rodgers.
The Rodgers, along with their four children, were forced from their home about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after Patrick Rodgers noticed smoke coming from a bathroom.
The family lost its two dogs and four cats in the fire. The family is staying with relatives.
