Evelyn A. “Evei” Lineman

Evelyn A. “Evei” Lineman, 89, of Butler passed away Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Richland Township to the late Guy A. Spence and Mary A. (Bashline) Spence.

Even was a member of North Main Street Church of God. She worked for Troutman's Department Store. She also was a Butler City crossing guard and then worked in Arthur's Gift Shop for many years.

Evei is survived by her son, Robert G. Lineman of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lineman, who she married on Oct. 5, 1945, and who passed away on March 8, 1996; and one daughter, Marcy Ann Lineman, who passed away Dec. 26, 1967.
