Francis Michael Schenck
Francis Michael Schenck, 80, of Butler passed peacefully Monday.
He was born June 11, 1935, in Foxburg to the late Ralph O. Schenck and Louise (Murray) Schenck.
Mr. Schenck was the owner of George Schenck and Co., retiring in 1985.
He was a Methodist.
Mr. Schenck belonged to the William H. Miller Lodge 769 F&AM He enjoyed golf, riding his Harley Davidson, traveling, flying and especially his dog, Annie.
Mr. Schenck is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Beverly J.; his son, David M. Schenck of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Debbie L. Smith and her husband, Butch Hutcheson, of Butler and Cindy Walters and her husband, Bill, of Butler; three stepsons, Stanley D. Pavkovich and his wife, Jennifer, of Butler, Gregory Pavkovich and his wife, Lisa, of Lake Avalon, Ohio, and Mark A. Pavkovich of Prospect; his stepdaughter, Cynthia Wetzel and her husband, John, of New Castle; five grandchildren, Erann Heltzell and her husband, Eric, Jason Smith and his wife, Lyndsey, Kate Walters, Michael Walters and Tommy Walters; four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Mason Heltzell and Kinsley and Bryson Smith; eight step-grandchildren, Leah Cotelesse and her husband, Corry, David Pavkovich and his wife, Cassie, Rebecca Selker and her husband, Jason, Brian Pavkovich, Dylan Marshall and his wife, Bodie, Jason Marshall and his wife, Leaha, Sara Pavkovich and Justin Pavkovich; and seven great-step-grandchildren.
He also is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Fleming and her husband, Charles, of Penn Township, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, George M. Schenck, and one niece, Patricia Schenck.
SCHENCK — Friends of Franics Michael Schenck, who died Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.The funeral service immediately will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Clark Sawyer of the Hill United Presbyterian Church officiating.
