Roy A. Pritts
Roy A. Pritts, 61, of Butler passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday.
He was born Aug. 12, 1956, in New Kensington, and was the son of the late Oliver and Venia V. Vasbinder Pritts.
He was a food processing technician until his retirement in 2008.
He enjoyed his dog, Penny, camping, yard work, and helping his friends, doing anything that needed to be done.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Corrine M. Pennington Pritts, whom he married Aug. 5, 1994; two daughters, Kristin (Nathan) Truitt of Thomaston, Ga., and Cassie Pritts and her fiancé, Joshua Toledo, of Atlanta, Ga; two sons, Stephen (Brandi) Stroup of Chicora, and Matthew (Katie) Pritts of Griffin, Ga; five grandchildren; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale and Vivian Pennington; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; a brother, John Pritts of Butler; a sister, Oneda (Bob) Ellenberger of Evans City; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Oliver (Billy) Pritts; and a sister, Elizabeth (Cissy) Kline.
PRITTS — Friends of Roy A. Pritts, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E.
