Colton Carney’s three-run triple highlighted a four-run Butler eighth inning as the BlueSox rallied for a 5-2 victory over Chillicothe Monday night at Kelly Automotive Park.

The BlueSox (2-3) trailed 2-1 entering the eighth frame.

Jarod Deagan and Butler graduate Wyatt Daugherty combined for four hitless innings of relief. Deagan struck out five in three frames to get the win.

Daugherty struck out one in a scoreless ninth to earn the save.

Carney had a triple, single and two RBI in the game while Andrew Chuba had a pair of singles and scored two runs for the BlueSox.

Chillicothe (2-2) will face the BlueSox again at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday at Kelly Automotive Park.
