Marvin C. Curfman
Marvin C. Curfman, 80, of Sarver passed away on Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.
Born Jan. 7, 1938, in Three Springs, Pa., he was the son of Clarence Curfman and Clarissa Nonemaker Curfman.
Marvin served in the National Guard.
He worked as a security supervisor for the Butler Auto Auction, retiring in 2002 after 18 years.
He enjoyed attending church, reading the Bible, walking, riding his bike and working in the yard.
The family would like to thank the staff at Butler Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care during Marvin's stay.
Surviving are his wife, Lois (Thompson) Curfman, whom he married May 21, 1965; his children, Renee Curfman of Valencia, Jim (Stephanie) Curfman of Leechburg, and Shelley (John) Navaro of Delmont, Pa.; three brothers, Donald Curfman of Grove City, Ned (Agnes) Curfman of Volant, and Galen Curfman of Sarver; one sister, Faye (James) Murrman of Butler; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter; and six siblings, Violet Flick, Evadine King, Howard “Buddy” Curfman, Lavonda Luther, Florence Thorpe and Darlene Covert.
CURFMAN — Friends of Marvin C. Curfman, who died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with the Rev.
