Gladys Marie McCleary Holochuk

Gladys Marie McCleary Holochuk, 95, of Butler passed away on Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Jan. 1, 1922, in Highland Township, Pa., and was the daughter of the late William D. McCleary and the late Sylvia F. Reaghart McCleary.

Gladys worked for many years as a clerk for Kmart in Butler.

She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Gladys enjoyed traveling on bus trips and fishing.

She is survived by her son, Keith (Carol) Holochuk of West Sunbury; two daughters, Sandra Cotten of Butler and Debra Welch of Fenelton; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Holochuk, whom she married on Sept. 18, 1946, and who passed away on June 18, 1987; an infant sibling; four sisters and two brothers.

HOLOCHUK — There will be no public visitation for Gladys Marie McCleary Holochuk, who died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, per her wishes.At the convenience of the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date.Private burial will take place in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.Arrangements are being handled by Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the donor's charity of choice.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
