Mildred Frances Kohl, 92, of Butler on Saturday entered the Gates of Heaven to be reunited with her beloved husband.

She passed away peacefully at her home, Newhaven Court at Clearview in Butler, surrounded that day by loving family and friends who will all miss her exceptional presence.

Born on Oct. 12, 1921, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Hahn Lorch.

She was a graduate of Brentwood High School. Millie was a Catholic.

She enjoyed reading, going to movies, and dinners out.

Millie worked for a number of years as a waitress at the New Castle Ponderosa, and then retired working as a hostess at Applebee's in Cranberry Township.

She is survived by her son, Robert Kohl, Ph.D., of Defiance, Ohio; her daughter, Carol (Francis) Pribila of Butler; her four grandchildren, Brian (Renel) Pribila of Butler, Sharon (Zach) Payer of Charleston, S.C., Susan (Vince) Leytrick of Saegertown, Pa. and Lauren Pribila of Meadville; her seven great-grandchildren, Natalie and Anthony Pribila, Matea and Willow Payer, Alexis and Max Leytrick, and Riley Pribila.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert R. Kohl, who passed away May 13, 1996; her brother, and her two sisters.

KOHL — The friends of Mildred Frances Kohl, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Prospect, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Feltz officiating.
