Lois Ness

Lois P. Ness, 83, of Mars passed away Friday afternoon at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born on Oct. 1, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Henrietta Spinella.

Lois had been a certified nursing assistant for LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars and was a member of the Victory Family Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Renee Kennedy and her husband, Dale, of Valencia; her three sons, Dennis Ness and his wife, Phyllis, of Butler, Mark Ness and his wife, Jeanna, of Renfrew and Timothy Ness and his fiancee, Amber, of Saegertown; her sister, Dorothy Granata of Lancaster; her seven grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Ronald R. Ness, who died on March 31, 1996, and by her siblings, Mildred, Agnes, James, and William.

Ness, who passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
