Mary I. Froeschle
Mary I. Froeschle, 74, of Chicora, died Dec. 27, 2020, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 20, 1946, in Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Thomas W. Keating and the late Marcella Schwyzer Keating.
She and her husband, George, operated a trucking company and leased it to Daily Express in Harrisburg. After George’s death, she worked for six years as a bartender at Zimas Bar until its closing in 2004.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Catherine Froeschle of Chicora; two sons, Richard and Christina Safranek of Chicora, and Andrew and Cherylin Safranek of Bruin; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosalie Keating of Chicora; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, George Froeschle, whom she married Feb. 14, 1976; and her parents; she was preceded in death by two sons; two brothers; and a grandson.
FROESCHLE — Per the request of the family, there will be no public visitation for Mary I. Froeschle, who died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020.
A private committal will be officiated by the Rev. John Pistorius.
Interment will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
