Viola M. Yartz
Viola M. Yartz, 79, of Butler passed away at 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.
Viola was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Center Township. She was the daughter of the late H. Breaden Kiser and the late Norma Shakely Kiser.
Viola was a life member of the Rider Lutheran Church. She was a secretary for the Butler School District and the U.S. Patent Office in Boyers.
Viola is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Ann Porter; two sons, Braden Joseph Yartz and Kerry Robert Yartz, all of Butler; and a number grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Velma Blain, Cleo (Ron) Baxter and Isabel Bacher, all of Butler; one brother, Paul (Renie) Kiser of West Sunbury; and several nieces and nephews.
Viola was preceded in death by one son, Terence Yartz; three sisters; and three brothers.
YARTZ — The family of Viola M. Yartz, who died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016, will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Rider Lutheran Church.Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
