Garnet L. Kriley
Garnet L. Kriley, 86, of Butler died Sunday at the Saxony Health Center.
Born Nov. 15, 1931, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Charles Hinchberger and Amanda (Hickey) Hinchberger.
She was a homemaker and previously had worked at the Peggy Lou Bakery before marriage and also in the cafeteria at the Butler Junior High School and St. Mary's School. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman and enjoyed square dancing.
Surviving are her sons, Patrick (Elizabeth) Kriley of Cherry Valley, and Douglas (Tina) Kriley of Butler; her four daughters, Deanna (Rick) Cetti of Butler, Darla Lovich of Butler, Denise (Edward) Knauff of Zelienople, and Dawn (Ted) Birckbichler of Butler; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Alene Sankey of Butler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendelin J. “Wennie” Kriley, whom she married Aug. 24, 1949, and who died Oct. 25, 2012; two great-grandsons; three brothers; four sisters; one half-brother; and one half-sister.
KRILEY — Friends of Garnet L. Kriley, who died Sunday, April 22, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. The Rev.
