MUDDY CREEK — Road conditions may have led to a rollover crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 79 South near mile marker 93.6.

The two passengers in the vehicle refused medical treatment, said state police Cpl. Shawn Armagost.

“They hit some slush in the left lane, tried to correct, hit more slush and went off, hit the embankment and rolled over a couple of times,” he said.

Portersville Muddy Creek EMS responded to the accident, along with Portersville Muddy Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Traffic on I-79 was not affected.

Another accident occurred after 11:30 a.m. at mile marker 95, in the northbound lane, according to 911 dispatchers.
