Calvin C. Thompson Jr.

Calvin C. Thompson Jr., 68, of Buffalo Township passed away Monday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice of Concordia Lutheran Ministries after a short illness.

He was born on March 19, 1950, in Harrison Township, and was the son of the late Calvin C. Thompson Sr. and the late Rosella G. (Bash) Thompson.

He had lived in the Buffalo Township area most of his life.

Calvin was a mold maker for Glenshaw Glass for 30 years and retired in 2006.

He was of the Methodist faith.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy of Buffalo Township; his son, Joseph (Dawn) Thompson of East Vandergrift; and his three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Thompson, who passed away in 2012; and his sister, Carol Mogle.

THOMPSON — The family of Calvin C. Thompson Jr., who died Monday, July 30, 2018, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME, 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev.
