Mrs. Grace V. Duerr, 86, of Jefferson Township passed away peacefully at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, Jefferson Township. She is formerly of Buffalo Township.

Grace was born in Pittsburgh, Dec. 23, 1923, the daughter of the late William D. and Gertrude (Savage) Wall.

She was the widow of Albert H. Duerr, who passed away in 1978.

She was a member of the Freeport United Methodist Church, Freeport.

She was a homemaker and a devoted caretaker for her son.

She had worked as a cashier for the Pennywise Supermarket in Natrona Heights and for Risch's Supermarket in Buffalo Township. She also had been a food service worker for the Freeport School District.

Grace enjoyed sewing, gardening, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her son, Barry A. Duerr of Jefferson Township; her daughter, Dianne M. Morrison of Buffalo Township; and two grandsons, Benjamin A. and Andrew A. Morrison, both of Buffalo Township.

Grace was preceded by her sister, D. Jane Seaburg.
