Mary L. Muto

Mary L. Muto, 66, of Gibsonia died Friday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Nov. 18, 1949, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dolores Wagner Stevens.

She was a member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Roman Catholic Church in Lawrenceville. She was an avid reader.

Mary was a retired cashier from the former Ames Department Store in the Richland Mall.

Surviving are her son, Robert Muto of Gibsonia; her daughter, Melissa Douds and her husband, Michael, of Mars; her brother, Joseph Stevens and his wife, Ronda, of West Deer Township; and five sisters, Julie Trozzi of Oakmont, Terri Ploof and her husband, Jimmy, of Hampton Township, Joanne Miller of Etna, Linda Pronio of Bloomfield and Chrissy Octavi and her husband, Hank, of Bloomfield. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Helena and Devin Douds.

MUTO — There will be no visitation for Mary L. Muto, who died Friday, June 24, 2016.Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial at noon Friday, July 1, at St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, corner of Cherry and Clark streets, Mars.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.The McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home in Mars is assisting with the arrangements.Directions and condolences at www.mcdonald-aeberli.com.
