Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., has in its collection Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8 accompanied by an adult. Guided tours are available with advanced notice for no extra charge. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, offered from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. PITTSBURGH

Carnegie Science Center on the North Side hosts SkyWatch, a program at the Henry Buhl Jr. Planetarium & Observatory, at 7 and 9 p.m. Friday, preceding the exciting celestial event, the Super Blue Blood Moon set to appear Jan. 31. The Science Center’s winter hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days. Admission is $18.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 3 to 12; films are extra. Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., and its Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum will host the sixth annual NFL PLAY 60 Training Camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the museum is free for all children age 17 and younger, courtesy of DICK’S Sporting Goods. The History Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and until 10 p.m. Fridays. Carnegie Museum of Natural History, 4400 Forbes Ave. in Oakland, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays. Extended hours are until 8 p.m. most Thursdays.
