Keith A. McElravy
Keith A. McElravy, 48, of Corry, formerly of Karns City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, May 16, 2021, with his wife and family at his side at his father’s home in Karns City.
Keith was born Oct. 25, 1972, in Butler. He was the son of Marshall R. McElravy.
He was a 1991 graduate of Karns City Area High School.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Keith enjoyed the company of his wife and children, most especially watching his son, Lars race, fishing with Ace, and attending his daughter’s pageants. He also enjoyed traveling and listening to heavy metal music.
Keith was an industrial electrician, and had been employed for Creek Electrical in Wichita, Kan., for more than 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy M. Snyder McElravy, whom he married in Waterford on June 8, 1996; his parents, Marshall and Peggy McElravy of Karns City; his children, Dakota M. at home, Lars R. of Russell, and Jade S. and Ace T., both at home; two brothers, Jared Wells of Winona, Minn., and Ian McElravy of Karns City; his sister, Kimberly A. Barger and her husband, Chris, of Petal, Miss.; his niece and nephew, Lauren and Garrett Barger; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Edith Snyder of Corry; his longtime, best friend, Andrew “Andy” Seybert of Butler, who will give Keith’s eulogy; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond “Buck” and Dorothy McElravy; and his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Betty Texter, and Connie Texter.
MCELRAVY — Friends of Keith A. McElravy, who died Sunday, May 16, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hile Funeral Home of Karns City, 128 Main St., Karns City.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Blair Blakeslee, a Missionary Alliance pastor officiating.
