Butler County Community College’s Cultural Center has rescheduled two Succop Theater events canceled by the weather.
“Bleeding Façade,” a murder mystery written by BC3 student Gabrielle Barton, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and available by calling 724-284-8505 or by visiting www.bc3.edu/succop-theater. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Also, “Alexander Hamilton: The Man, the Myth, the Musical,” presented by former area teacher Steve Cicero and part of BC3’s Local Artists Mini-Series, will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Zelienople Historical Society Christmas House Tour and the Butler County Symphony Association Holiday Tour of Homes are both scheduled for Saturday.

The Butler Art Center presents its annual Christmas Art Show & Sale from Wednesday through Dec. 29.
The reception for the show will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 7 with cookies, coffee and hot cocoa.
Super sales days are planned for Dec. 27 to 29 when everything will be discounted.
The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

[naviga:h3]Hikes slated at state parks[/naviga:h3]
Two area state parks have planned cold-weather hikes.
McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, will host a winter tree ID walk from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 15 leaving from the Kildoo Picnic area.
Moraine State Park, Muddy Creek Township, will be the site of a “First Day Hike” from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 1 leaving from the bike rental parking lot on the North Shore.
[naviga:h3]Open house set at Stone House[/naviga:h3]
The Friends of the Old Stone House will host the annual Christmas open house on Dec. 8 at the historic inn and museum near the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528 in Brady Township.
Guests can enjoy colonial musicians and dress, Christmas-themed refreshments, ornament craft making, popcorn stringing, and story time. Plus, the Old Stone House will be decorated for the season.
The event is 4 to 9 p.m., and admission is free.
