Symphony, high school choirs offer holiday songs

Matthew Kraemer will conduct the Butler County Symphony Orchestra's “Holiday Traditions” concert on Saturday.

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will present its annual holiday concert “Holiday Traditions” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium.

This concert will feature famous holiday songs including “I'll be Home for Christmas,” “White Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Matthew Kraemer is the music director and conductor.

Michael and Kelly Marra will be the guest vocalists, along with the Butler High School choir and the Seneca Valley High School choir.

Select members of the Butler Senior High Orchestra under the direction of Katie Black will be performing in the lobby before the concert.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $8 for students.

The symphony's 29th annual Holiday Tour of Homes also takes place Saturday and includes five homes and First English Lutheran Church.
