Edith Snyder

Edith Mae McKnight Snyder, 83, of Nash Hill Road, Corry, Pa., passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 15, 1937, in Butler, and was a daughter of the late Donald and Anna Pearl Garvin McKnight.

Edith was originally from Butler. She was a homemaker for many years, until she began working for Hills Department Store. In 1992, Edith retired, and she and her husband moved to Corry.

In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded by her 11 siblings, and she was the last to survive.

Edith is survived by her husband of 66 years, George Snyder; eight children; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

SNYDER — A celebration of life for Edith Mae McKnight Snyder, who died Monday, June 21, 2021, will be held at a later date.
