The First Baptist Church, 211 W. New Castle St., will host revival services at 10:55 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday followed by meetings at 7 p.m. Monday through April 20.

Les Ollila and Marty Von of the Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, Wis., will speak.

Community services set for this week

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will host these community services on Friday and Sunday:

• A Good Friday Service will be held at the church from Noon to 1 p.m. Friday. The service will focus on "The Last Words of Christ" and will include brief meditations by several county pastors. Music will be included. The service will be broadcast live on WBUT Radio.

• The youths of Saint Andrews will host a Sonrise Service at 7 a.m. Sunday at the South Shore Boat Launch at Moraine State Park.

Attendees are urged to take a lawn chair and dress for the weather. A continental breakfast will be served following the service.

Creation theories are topic of class

The first session of a five-week course, "The Case for the Creator," will run from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. April 23 in the Hall Memorial Lounge of the Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.

The course will be led by Pastor Clark Sawyer and Robert McKee. It will explore creation theories, scientific evidence and scripture.

The public is invited. To ensure course materials are available, attendees are urged to call John Porter at 287-5427.

ZELIENOPLE — Christian Actors Troupe, comprised of seventh and eighth grade youths, will present "Two Scoops" at Strobel Hall in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 215 N.Main St."Two Scoops" is composed of two musicals, "The Prodigal Daughter" and "Miracles."Performances are set for 7 p.m. April 21 through 23.Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.For information, call 724-452-4767.

Presbyterian women in the Kiskiminetas Presbytery will host a spring gathering April 29 at the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Dayton.Nicole Johnson, a member of the Brookville Church, will speak about her experiences as a participant in the 2005 Global Exchange to Brazil.Heather Withrow, director of the Westminster Highlands, will also speak.Cost for registration and lunch is $5. CENTER TWP — The New Testament Baptist Church, 437 N. Duffy Road, will host an old-fashioned tent revival at 7 p.m. April 24 and 25.Pastor Tony Hutson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., will preach.
