In loving memory of our beloved father and grandfather, Ernest P. Umstead who passed away May 31, 1972.

Our family circle was broken 46 years ago today.

God took him home, it was God’s will

But his sweet memories linger still.

Time cannot change them its true,

We still long to hear his voice and to see his sweet smile.

Our love for him will never die,

We will always have him in our hearts.

So God, put Your arms around him and keep him safe,

Until our family circle is united again.
