Jerri Leanne Reges (Rivers), 56, passed away unexpectedly at home in Cabot, on Monday, April 11, 2022.

She was born in Butler, on April 12, 1965, and was the daughter of the late Jerry and Peggy (Stevick) Rivers.

Jerri loved fiercely and without conditions. She provided a caring home for family, friends and strangers alike, consistently throughout her life. Jerri believed in the inherent value of all living things by providing the same love and care to plants and animals. She welcomed the wildlife, took in countless strays, and treated her pets as family.

Jerri taught and shared her many talents with those around her, leaving behind a love for gardening, woodworking and jewelry making. Her creativity was beautifully endless.

She was loved and will be forever missed.

She is mourned by her husband of nearly 35 years, Jeffrey Reges; her daughter, Marlana (Thomas) Wilson; her son, Jake Reges and his girlfriend, Jennifer Price; and two cherished grandchildren, Kaiser and Sophia.

Jerri was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Rivers; a sister, Sherry Geibel; as well as her parents, Peggy Stevick Rivers and John Rivers.

REGES — A service of remembrance for Jerri Leanne Reges (Rivers), who died Monday, April 11, 2022, will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
