John W. “Jack” Clifford, 86, of Middlesex Township died Friday.

He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Patricia (Miller) Clifford.

He was the loving father of Brian (Diana) Clifford, Greg (Brenda) Clifford, Mike (Lynn) Clifford, Tim (Linda) Clifford, Sharon (Chuck) Johnson and the late Jack (Jill) Clifford.

He was the brother of the late Odette Yesline.

He also is survived by 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A World War II U.S. Navy veteran, Jack served in the Pacific Theatre aboard the U.S.S. Sangay.

Among all the jobs he held over the years, he was most fond of his near 20 years working with Holy Sepulcher School where he loved interacting with and helping countless children.

Jack also was a gifted craftsman and woodworker.

CLIFFORD — Friends of John W. “Jack” Clifford, who died Friday, May 1, 2015, are welcomed from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Schellhaas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in Holy Sepulcher Church. Interment with military honors will follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E.
