Symphony presents 'Holiday Traditions'

Michael Marra

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Christmas concert, “Holiday Traditions,” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium.

The concert will feature classic and contemporary holiday music and a combined choir comprised of students from Butler and Seneca Valley high schools.

Butler singer and actor Michael Marra will perform “The Grinch Medley” with the orchestra and choir.

Marra lived in New York City for 18 years and has performed both on and off Broadway. After returning to Butler to raise his family, he has participated in regional productions in Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Richland and Zelienople.

He can be seen and heard in a variety of commercials and voice-overs for companies and industries in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland areas.

Tickets for the concert are available at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St., or online at butlersymphony.org. Call 724-283-1402 for tickets or more information.

The symphony also will be holding its annual basket raffle before the concert.
