Dr. William DiCuccio today announced his candidacy for Butler County commissioner.

DiCuccio, a Republican, is seeking one of two nominations in the May 17 primary. He is the medical director at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Along with being the former chief of medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital, he ran his own practice in Butler for 30 years.

DiCuccio, 62, is the vice chairman for the Butler County Community College board and a board member for the Community Health Clinic of Butler.
