Bear harvest results
The Pennsylvania Game Commission has reported 1,622 black bears harvested two days into the season.
Thomas C. Wilson of Rimersburg harvested a 608-pound bear in Upper Turkeyfoot Township. There were 15 bears harvested in Butler County.
