JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley Raider Pride Camp, a football camp put on by the Raider varsity team and coaches, takes place from 9 a.m. to noon July 18 at NexTier Stadium.

The camp is for students entering third through eighth grade. Fee is $25 and includes a T-shirt and snacks.

SLIPPERY ROCK — The Seneca Valley Black and Blue Alumni Golf Outing takes place Aug. 12 at Oakview Golf Club.

The event is sponsored by the Seneca Valley Football Boosters and is open to anyone. Fee for the four-person scramble is $100 per person or $400 for a foursome.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Prizes, lunch and dinner are included with the entry fee.

BUTLER TWP — Butler Inline Hockey will have tryouts for Grades 2-8 from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Family Sports Center.

Tryouts for grades 9-12 will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Grove City YMCA. Players from any school district without an inline hockey program may try out.
