Right Electric recently won the Meridian/West Sunbury/Slippery Rock/Prospect Little League regular season and playoff titles.

The squad finished the season 14-2. Team members include Nolan Lewis, Anthony Graziani, Alex Scialabba, Zachary Pilarcik, Matthew Dowdy, Jordan Cratty, Jobe Kiess, Gavin Mulkern, Richie Jones, Nick Smith and Nick Krelow.

Kevin Lewis managed the squad. Tony Graziani and Tony Scialabba assisted Lewis.

Penn Valley senior swimmer Sarah Clouse and Sylvan swimmer Joel Erickson won the John F. Masarik high point awards recently at the A-KValley League championship meet.Penn Valley swimmers took third place in the meet. Its 8-and-under swimmers took third place in the Pump McLaughlin Lollipops swim meet as well.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Four members of the Slippery Rock University tennis program recently were awarded Intercollegiate Tennis Association all-academic honors.Freshmen Kelli Parnell and Lara Rizzi on the women's side, and men's team members junior Jonathan Crossley and sophomore Adam Shosky received the honors.SRU's women's tennis team earned all-academic honors as a unit as well.
