Esther M. Patton

Esther M. Patton, 95, of Butler passed away Monday at the Shelbourne Personal Care Home.

Born Aug. 30, 1922, in Euclid, Pa., she was the daughter of Josiah Fleeger and Emma Causer Fleeger.

Esther was a member of Oak Hills Christian Church, where she had sung in the choir and also sang in the Sarver Community Choir. She enjoyed baking, having baked many wedding and birthday cakes. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Bonnie C. Weaver of Butler, Colin J. (Cindy) Patton of Hummelstown, Pa., Jeffery A. (Shirley) Patton of Butler and Sheri A. (Jim) Nixon of Walland, Tenn.; her sister, Virginia Davis of Pawleys Island, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A. James Patton, on Dec. 19, 1985; one son, Richard L. McCall; one daughter, Patty D. McCall; and nine brothers and sisters.

PATTON — Friends of Esther M. Patton, who died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David A.
