Michael Kondos

Michael G. Kondos, 79, of Butler, beloved husband and father, passed peacefully away Thursday, July 15, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born April 19, 1942, in Butler, and was the son to the late Michael Kondos and the late Bertha Jerry Kondos.

He was a graduate of Butler High School. He worked as an electrician and maintenance at Armco, retiring in 1999. Michael was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed fishing and boating.

Kondos is survived by his loving spouse, Kathleen A. Kondos, whom he married on Oct. 7, 1960; son, Michael G. Kondos Jr. and his wife, Jocelyn, of Evans City; four daughters, Deborah Dishner of Butler, Judy Hogan and her husband, Dennis, of Albion, Pa., Diana Walters of Evans City and Donna Wittebort and her husband, Rich, of Butler; seven grandchildren, Justin Hogan, Kevin Dishner, Colton Walters, Brooke Walters, Bailey Kondos, Zoie Kondos and Abbey Kondos.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan (Kondos) Reed.

Kondos — At the request of the family, there will be no public viewing and all services will be private for Michael G. Kondos, who died Thursday, July 15, 2021.
