Ruth Ellen Stevenson Gordon, 62, of Ringgold, Ga., passed away Saturday.

She was a member and pianist at the Grace Bible Church in Chattanooga and a window clerk at the Tunnel Hill Post Office.

She was a member of the Carpet Capitol Cloggers and the Chattanooga Jiu Jitsu Academy.

Survivors include her husband, Francis Joseph Gordon; her stepson, Joseph Gordon and his wife, Joann, of Prospect; her stepdaughter, Mrs. Rachael (Jamie) Allen of Charlotte, N.C.; her sisters, Mrs. Nancy (Raymond) Johnson of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Alberta (Alan) Slater of Prospect; her brother, George Alvin (Judy) Stevenson III of Prospect; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Patricia (Don) Hannan of Plymouth, Mass.; her brother-in-law, Richard (Kathy) Gordon of Lakewood, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and 12 nieces and nephews.

GORDON — The family of Ruth Ellen Stevenson Gordon, who died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, received friends Tuesday and today at the East Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, Tenn.Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev.
