Plans for a potential $4.5 million library to be built at the Adams Township Community Park riled residents of Mars on Wednesday night at the Adams Township municipal building.

Mars residents and officials do not want the library moved from its current location on Grand Avenue and renamed the Adams Area Public Library.

Funding is still being ironed out and the township supervisors have not voted to approve the plan as yet.
