Karen Keck of Center Township has been traveling to the Old Friends horse retirement farm near Lexington, for seven years. She visited with Silver Charm, who won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness. More than 270 women attended Ladies Night Out Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at the Butler County Club in Penn Township. The event raised more than $6,000 for the breast cancer program and services at Butler Health System. The event included dinner, a basket auction, raffles and a fashion show.
