Alberta Heeter

Alberta J. Heeter, 88, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, passed away Sunday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1926, in Eau Claire, to the late William and Elsie (Kerr) Layton.

Alberta married Howard Heeter Jr. on March 14, 1946. They were married for 53 years before his passing on July 18, 1999.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Heeter of Howland Township, Ohio, William (Jan) Heeter of Boardman, Ohio, Debbie (Gary) Stutler of Howland Township, Ohio, and Terry (Diane) Heeter of Vienna Township, Ohio; her grandchildren, Denise, Denny, Donna, Amy, Carrie, Dan, Christina, Tyler and Travis; and her 15 great-grandchildren.

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Heeter Jr.; her parents; her granddaughter, Shannon Heeter, and her twin sister, Lucille George.

Heeter — Private services for Alberta J.
