State Rep. Tim Bonner, R-8th, is hosting two breakfasts for senior citizens; one at 9:30 a.m. April 22 at the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Company and the other at 9:30 a.m. April 29 at Grantham’s Landing at Sandy Lake, Mercer County.

Senior citizens must register for the Harrisville breakfast by Thursday by calling Bonner’s district office at 724-458-4911. They must register for the Mercer County breakfast by April 14.

Attendees can expect updates on state government-level issues and information on several programs and services available to senior citizens. Topics to be discussed include state planning, inheritance tax, property tax and rent rebate programs and discounted vehicle registration for retired individuals.

Bonner represents portions of Butler and Mercer counties.
