Local author, woman’s advocate to speak at library
CRANBERRY TWP – Local author Linda Lee Blakemore will discuss her latest book, “Entrenched: A Memoir of Holding On and Letting Go,” at 6:30 p.m. April 26 at the Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road.
A national speaker, advocate for women and children, and author of two books, Blakemore will speak about her journey as a survivor of child sexual abuse and destructive relationships. She will explore reasons why the average woman will leave an unhealthy relationship seven times before leaving for good, offer statistics and resources about abusive relationships, and provide tips for women to get safe or stay safe.
Author-signed books will be available for sale.
